Iran is the second-largest exporter of pistachios in the world or the largest exporter of pistachios. The Iranian pistachio industry employs over 2 million people, including pistachio growers and workers picking pistachios from trees. Pistachio and saffron are considered the most important agricultural products of Iran and in relation to foreign currencies; Pistachio is second only to oil. For this reason, it can be said without hesitation that Iran has one of the most advanced and modern industries in pistachio, which includes a wide range of affiliated industries, such as irrigation. pest management, genetic improvement, affiliate services, packaging, and processing. etc.
During this visit, participants will meet the most outstanding and well-known producers, exporters, and pistachio processing companies. You will become familiar with all activities such as agriculture, exporting, services, pest control, irrigation, packaging, and even cooking. As part of the visit, visits to cultural and historical sites complement these targeted visits, and, where possible, interactions and meetings with residents will be organized at dinners, lunches, and other events.

Day 1: Tehran Arrival at Tehran Airport, Meet & Greet by the Representative, Transfer to the hotel, Overnight Tehran.
Day 2: Tehran- Kerman Full-day city tour of Tehran to visit: Tehran Grand Bazaar highlighting the food, nut, and confectionary section including a nut processing workshop, visiting the Golestan Palace complex (UNESCO World Heritage site), National Jewel and Carpet Museum (visit depends on opening times), we can also arrange an afternoon visit to the Iranian Pistachio Association office for interested clients. Late afternoon flight to Kerman, transfer to hotel, and dinner in the late evening.
Day 3: Kerman A full-day visit to Kerman city to visit: the largest pistachio nursery in Iran, the Ganjali Khan complex: bazaar, historic hammam, mosque, caravanserai, and Madrasa (school). Optional visits with professionals in the field of Pistachio in Kerman can be arranged. Following lunch drive to Mahan to visit the Shazdeh Garden and Shahnematolla Vali Mausoleum, Overnight Kerman.
Day 4: Kerman - Rafsanjan Morning drive to Rafsanjan (113 KM), full-day visit to pistachio orchards, processing workshop, and related sites. Meet with local experts and professionals in the field. If time allows, there will be additional cultural-historic visits, Overnight Rafsenjan.
Day 5: Yazd Morning drive to Yazd (257 KM), en-route visit of Zeinaddin caravanserai, lunch in Yazd, half-day city tour of Yazd visiting the Jame (Friday) Mosque, Fire Temple, Water Museum, Mirchaqmagh square, Dolat Abad Garden, as well as the oldest and largest confectionery in Iran. Dinner and Overnight Yazd.
Day 6: Isfahan Full day morning drive to Isfahan (320 KM), en-route visit to the most modern pistachio processing and packing plants in Taft as well as the oldest pistachio orchard of Iran in Ardekan. Finally a short visit to Meybod before arriving in Isfahan for dinner, Overnight Isfahan.
Day 7: Isfahan Full-day city tour of Isfahan visiting Naqsh-e Jahan Square complex (UNESCO World Heritage Site): Ali Qapu Palace, Imam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Bazaar, Pistachio Chehel Sotoun Palace (UNESCO World Heritage site). Evening visit to the iconic Si-o-se pol and Khajo pol bridges, dinner, and overnight in Isfahan.
Day 8: Isfahan Full-day city tour of Isfahan visiting Vank Cathedral, Jame (Friday) Mosque (UNESCO World Heritage site), Hasht Behesht Palace, as well as Si-o-se pol and Khajo pol bridges in daylight. Dinner and overnight in Isfahan.
Day 9: Tehran Morning drive to Tehran, en-route visit to Abyaneh village and Kashan visiting the Tabatabai house, Agha Bozorg theological school and Fin Garden (UNESCO World Heritage site), Farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant and overnight in Tehran.
Day 10: Departure Tehran Transfer to Imam Khomeini Airport for departure flight.
