Azam Beryan
Beryani or Beryan is a traditional Isfahan's dish made from mutton or lamb that has been chopped, skewered and grilled over an open fire. It serves with fresh bread, a delicious Iranian flatbread, your trip to Isfahan would not be completed without it. This fat delicious food will be more enjoyable with a glass of Dough or Yogourt (Mix of Yogourt, water, and salt).
Azam Beryani's restaurant specializes in this dish and has two branches; one by the river and one further north. The place specializes in serving some of the tastiest biryani, a national favorite. Unlike restaurants that sell kebabs and other local dishes, it is very rare to find an authentic biryani in Isfahan. Here you can taste it at a good price.
